Firmware Developer, Labs
Write the code that runs closest to the hardware. You make sure our systems sense, decide, and act on time, on constrained devices, and fail safely when something goes wrong.
What you will own
Develop and maintain firmware for edge devices in C, C++, or Rust, including drivers, communication stacks, and real-time control loops.
Bring up new boards together with the hardware engineers and own board support packages.
Implement sensor acquisition with accurate timing, buffering, and synchronisation.
Deploy and optimise ML inference on constrained devices.
Build safe-state behaviour, watchdogs, and fault handling that do not depend on the model being right.
Design secure, reliable over-the-air update and diagnostics paths, including for devices with limited or delayed connectivity.
Write the tests, simulation harnesses, and hardware-in-the-loop setups that let us change firmware with confidence.
