Hardware Engineer, Labs
Design the physical edge of our systems: the compute, power, and interface hardware that has to sense and act reliably in the harshest places we can reach.
What you will own
Design, prototype, and validate electronics for edge compute, sensing, and actuation.
Own schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and debugging from first prototype to a design ready for the field.
Select components and design for extremes: temperature, vibration, radiation, noise, power quality, and long service life.
Work with sensor, firmware, and ML engineers so hardware choices serve the whole system.
Plan and run test and validation, including EMC, thermal, and environmental testing with external labs where needed.
Manage relationships with fabricators, component suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
Document designs so another engineer can build, test, and maintain them.
